  Description and Details

This piece was a challenge, I had started this piece back about a year and half ago when I was living in Maryland. I had created the lower half and had continued making the upper body but did not like the outcome. I really thought the legs and torso where strong in there composition but the upper body lacked something, so I set the piece a side for a number of months and then moved to new york where it sat for a number of months, I then revisited it and tore apart the upper body, after rebuilding it again I still did not like the outcome so I then decided to attempt again. I finally came to the piece we have now. I have to say that I'm very happy with the outcome. It took some time but was well worth it.
This pieces title tells it all (Guardian) this is a soldier with a staff in its left hand and its power supply mechanism in its right hand, its stands ready to do its duty when called upon. A waiting soldier.
