C3PO was the first. Long before the luxury materials series, Gabriel Dishaw built the galaxy's most anxious protocol droid from reclaimed e-waste: computer chips, USB cords, RAM, wire, capacitors, and adding machine parts. These were assembled into a form that honours the character through transformation itself. Royal C3PO is the culmination of that series. It is the most refined e-waste C3PO, built from the same ethos that runs through everything on this site.
The materials are what C3PO is made of: technology salvaged from the human world and given new life. This makes it the most conceptually faithful version of the character in the collection. Part of a C3PO series that stretches back to 2013, Royal C3PO stands as both a collectible and a record of where this practice began.
