Common Questions

Q: Are your sculptures one of a kind?
Yes. Every Gabriel Dishaw sculpture is a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted piece—1 of 1. There are no, reproductions or copies. Each work is unique to its collector. The only exception is the limited edition art print collection, where each print is signed and numbered in runs of 25–50.
Q: What makes your work different from other upcycled art?
Gabriel Dishaw's sculptures combine authentic luxury fashion materials—vintage Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and other reclaimed designer goods—with vintage e-waste and pop culture iconography. The result is collector-grade art rooted in two disciplines that rarely meet: high fashion craftsmanship and electronic recycling. Every piece is handmade from materials that already have a story before arriving in the studio.
Q: Where has your work been featured?
Gabriel's sculptures have been featured in Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Hypebeast, Engadget, The Verge, CNET, PBS, designboom, My Modern Met, Boing Boing, and Discover Magazine. His work is in private collections worldwide, including notable collectors T-Pain and Jason David Frank, and has been commissioned by Capital One, Nike, Warner Brothers, Deloitte, and Mortal Kombat.
Q: How much do your sculptures cost?
A: Prices vary depending on the size, complexity, and materials involved. Original sculptures start around $5,000 for busts and smaller works, with most pieces ranging between $6,500 and $15,000. Large-scale and life-sized works are priced higher based on the scope of the build. Every piece is one of a kind original
If originals are outside your budget, art prints and merchandise are available in the shop at more accessible price points.

Q: How long does it take to create a sculpture?
A: It depends on scale and complexity. Sourcing the right materials often adds days or more. Read the full breakdown in this post.
