By utilizing upcycled Gucci materials, I not only get to create a unique work of art but also promote sustainability within the world of high fashion. Upcycling gives a second life to materials that might otherwise go to waste, creating something beautiful while reducing our environmental footprint.
Part of a new series where I explore geometric animal busts using my unique upcycled luxury approach. This piece was created using vintage Louis Vuitton from 70’s era luggage and 90’ era patent leather bags.
I took inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s retail bag color palette in addition to incorporating actual bags into the sculpture. This sculpture was modeled after the DC Comic character Hawkman.
