Darth Vader and Carbonite Sculpture Mashup Using Upcycled Materials

Carbonite Vader

My Darth Vader and Carbonite Sculpture Mash-Up reimagines two of Star Wars’ most iconic symbols — Vader’s presence and Han Solo’s entrapment — as a unified sculptural composition. Built from upcycled materials and e-waste, this work explores the duality between domination and preservation, machine and humanity.

  • Materials Used: Recycled materials such as: wire, resistors, ram, computer chips, data cables, gears and other miscellaneous parts from adding machines, airplanes, and typewriters.

  • Date Completed: 2013
