Constructed from upcycled e-waste and found materials, this sculpture transforms technology and discarded components into a reflection of sneaker culture’s constant evolution. I

This sculpture is my first commission piece for Nike. It is for the Nike Track Club launch of the Air Max 2011. Launch Date: 2/9/2011

KEY FEATURES: Braided steel lacing for superior lockdown. USB embedded in midsole for easy data transfer. Heat sink materials used for quick dissipation of heat. Rubber tubing for increased flexibility. Integrated midsole circuitry for instant data transfer. Secondary mesh layer for increased stability and ventilation.
