The Rocketeer is one of cinema's great cult heroes — a 1930s pulp aviator whose art deco helmet is one of the most distinctive designs in superhero history. The Rocketeer LV combines the nostalgic allure of the 1991 film with the timeless elegance of vintage Louis Vuitton, using upcycled materials to weave together two worlds that shouldn't work as well together as they do.
At the heart of the piece: vintage Louis Vuitton leather, brass hardware, and reclaimed components selected for their echo of the Rocketeer's retro-futurist aesthetic. The brass hardware in particular feels period-accurate in a way that elevates this beyond a simple pop culture tribute into something that could credibly sit alongside the character's actual design. At 18.5 inches deep, it has a substantial physical presence that photographs alone don't fully convey.
